Check out these patriotic movies and photos

In honor of the 4th of July, the website Film School Rejects came up with a list of the top 10 films that make them feel more American, and why. The tongue-in-cheek list is as follows:

10. Easy Rider (Power to the people)
9. Scarface (Protection of rights not in the Constitution)
8. Yankee Doodle Dandy (Protection from cruel and unusual punishment)
7. Mr. Smith Goes to Washington (Civil trial by jury)
6. To Kill A Mockingbird (Rights of the accused, to speedy trial, to right to counsel)
5. The Patriot (Eminent domain)
4. Independence Day (Unreasonable search and seizure)
3. Forrest Gump (Protection from quartering troops)
2. Animal House (Right to bear arms)
1. Team America: World Police (Freedom of speech)

For more on their selections, check out the list with full descriptions here.

Or you can take a look at Ten Great American Flag Bikini Moments, as determined by the Huffington Post.

They describe their picks as "iconic shots" of "some of entertainment's finest showing off their patriotism in stars and stripes throughout the years."

The selections include Jessica Simpson's memorable GQ cover (left) and Sarah Jessica Parker's TV Guide cover.

They seem to have missed the boat entirely with their selection of Heidi Montag, though, someone who can hardly be described as one of "entertainment's finest." The not-so-iconic shot depicts her prancing around the beach like usual, but this time she is wearing a patriotic bikini.
