Brad Pitt Threatens Lawsuit Over Paparazzi Photos
Brad Pitt will protect his family at all costs—especially when there are multimillion dollar baby pictures at stake.
Lawyers for Brad Pitt threatened legal action against anyone who dares to publish photos of the actor and his family at their private French estate, according to The Smoking Gun.
Pitt’s lawyer said the photos, which have not surfaced publicly, were obtained “surreptitiously” with “highly powerful telephoto lenses,” according to a letter from the Jolie-Pitt’s lawyer.
Attorney Yael Holtkamp added that if the photos were published, it would violate the star’s privacy rights.
The photos show “Pitt and his family as they engaged in familial activities on private property,” said Holtkamp in the documents.
The Jolie-Pitts reportedly have been negotiating with various publications for the first photos of their newborn twins, Vivienne and Knox Jolie-Pitt.
Reports have speculated the pictures will go for as much as $16 million, all of which the couple has said they will donate to charity.
