Chris Brown Quits Twitter

Over the past few days, rapper Chris Brown has been using Twitter to rant that his new CD, Graffiti, isn't available in some major stores - Walmart in particular. He showered his followers with such eloquence as, ""im tired of this s***. major stores r blackballing my cd. not stockin the shelves and lying to costumers. what the f*** do i gotta do," and later adding, "yeah i said it and i aint retracting s***. im not biting my tongue about s else..."

Now, days later, it seems that Brown decided that "retracting" these statements was probably a good idea, as his Twitter account has now disappeared, going the route of Miley Cyrus. He had claimed that he visited a Walmart in Connecticut and that the store didn't have his albums on the shelves or stored in the back. However, that particular Walmart has made a statement that they are, in fact, carrying the album - and so are the majority of Walmart stores. Looks like somebody spoke too soon, and decided to quit the microblogging site before he could dig his own grave any deeper.

Rihanna Speaks out about Chris Brown

Singer Rihanna – who was left battered and bruised after her ex-boyfriend Chris Brown assaulted her in February at a pre-Grammys party – knows she isn’t the only person to be the victim of domestic abuse.

"This happened to me. It can happen to anyone," she said.

However, the 21-year-old beauty admitted it was hard to deal with because of the feelings she had for the ‘Run It’ singer.

She says in an episode of ‘Good Morning America’ due to air on Thursday (11-05-09): "He was definitely my first big love."

Chris was recently interviewed about the assault and spoke of his regret about attacking Rihanna and told how he is trying his best to make amends.

"I'm human," he said. "If people feel a certain way, I'm not going to say they're wrong. But it's not right to judge somebody when people make mistakes all the time."

"I've learned from my mistakes and I'm learning from them. And I regret every moment, every second of it."

Chris repeatedly punched Rihanna in the face and bit her arms in his car as they left a pre-Grammy Awards party in February.

He pleaded guilty to assault and in August was sentenced to six months of community service, 12 months of domestic violence counselling and five years probation.

The judge also issued a restraining order which requires him to stay at least 100 yards from Rihanna for five years.

Chris Brown suffers from girlfriend beating amnesia

During his interview with Larry King Wednesday night, Chris Brown admitted to not remembering the incident where he brutalized then girlfriend Rihanna. Brown stated that his behavior doesn't reflect "who I am as a person". Brown, dressed in a baby blue sweater with a coordinating dark blue bow tie, looked innocent and youthful flanked by his mother, Joyce Hawkins, and his lawyer, Mark Geragos.

His vain attempts to look like a nice guy after his domestic violence case culminated is comparable to the Menendez brothers wearing pastel shirts at their parent's murder trial in 1989. Looking like a J.Crew model doesn't excuse violent behavior. One can only hope that Chris Brown is genuine in his apologies to Rihanna and that he will get the help he needs in dealing with anger management.

Chris Brown's Apollogy Worked; On Rihanna

The New York Post reports hip hop artist Chris Brown and his ex girlfriend singer Rihanna spent the weekend in of all places, Trump International Hotel & Tower in New York City overlooking beautiful Central Park. However they did check into separate rooms.

In addition they have tried to avoid the public, press, and paparazzi using decoy cars in an effort to not be caught together by anyone with a camera. Why? Remember Chris has a restraining order barring him from any contact from Rihanna. Brown, pleaded guilty to a felony assault charge against Rhianna just 5 months ago in February.

Bottom line, his video pleading for forgiveness may not have worked with the public or media. It did work on the one person to him that mattered, Rihanna. You may recall his video he personally released last week (week of July 12) asking for every one's forgiveness was panned by critics and polls shown that over 60 percent felt his apology was too little tool late.

One could speculate it's just a coincidence but neither artist have any performances in town this weekend. In addition they have ultimately arrived and left the same locations, just not together and not at the same times.

What is happening it appears Brown is on his own in his doings. Last week he acknowledged his video apology was against his attorneys recommendation and when asked for comment in regards to this past weekend his equally high profile attorney Mark Geragos stated, "I don't want to be quoted on something hypothetical."

Essentially, mums the words folks. We see no evil, speak no evil, hear no evil. No one is commenting on this. Not only are Brown's attorney and publicist not speaking, the prosecutors in Brown's case are not commenting. The real question is how will Rihanna react to questions asking if she forgives Brown? Because you know she's going to deny (she has to) having seen him. Consider that these two are kids. Brown is 20 and Rihanna is 21. They have a long way to go in terms of understanding the mess they are in and how to properly handle it. Brown has not even been sentenced yet so he is walking a very fine line as the courts don't take kindly to disrespecting orders. Any one judge with an agenda could decide to make an example of him.

What is worse is that if it is proven true that Rihanna has reconciled with Brown, she will lose all public sympathy. At least if he hits her again. Until then, talking heads will come out of the woodwork discussing if she did or did not do the right thing.

If you are wondering how this turns out, perhaps you can use the other Brown fiasco as a barometer. His name is Bobby.

Chris Brown: The Saga Continues

The latest chapter in the Chris Brown/Rihanna saga of 2009 claims that the fight between the two was over a text message he got from another woman while he was driving.

A police source tells TMZ that Rihanna read a text message from a woman Chris was planning on "meeting up with" (presumably, not for a game of Parcheesi) later. They also fought about an unnamed rapper (*coughcough JAY-Z! coughcough*), but that's not how the fight started. (I've also read rumors on several sites that they were fighting about Rihanna giving Chris herpes, which she got from a rapper (*coughcough JAY-Z! coughcough*), who in turn gave it to the unnamed rapper's wife (*coughcough BEYONCE! coughcough*), but those rumors are neither here nor there...).

As for the identity of Chris' "woman," OK! says that a few days before he basically punched his career goodbye (he lost all endorsements, and radio stations have stopped playing his music), he was seen getting flirty with the CDC's favorite spokeswoman, Petri Dish (a/k/a Paris Hilton).

It's bad enough that this little punk had the nerve to hit a woman, but if Chris beat Rihanna over a text he got from Paris, he deserves twenty life sentences and a donkey punch from Nikki Sixx. Chris is the one who deserved a beat down for flirting with that skankazoid.

Annnnnnnnnd there's more. E! (everyone's getting in on the fun) says a source told them that Chris theatened to kill Rihanna (why so classy?!) after she threw the car keys out of the window during the beat down. This put the rage of Mike Tyson & OJ Simpson on crack into Chris' body and he allegedly choked her until she passed out. That's when he took off running.

There's more details on her injuries. RiRi's right eye was so swollen, she couldn't open it.

REST ASSURED, if any man today showed the supreme stupidity of even THINKING to pick up his hands to me in ANYTHING other than love and respect, my response to him would be the LEAST of his concerns (and believe me, it would not be pretty), because he'd have so many Sicilians on his sorry back he'd think he was deep in the heart of Palermo.

And while, in the USA, one is innocent until proven guilty, I have one thing to say to Chris Brown, whom I once had respect for as an artist, and who I photographed on several occasions (irony of ironies, it's my stock photos of him, and Rihanna, that are selling like hot-cakes at the moment -- terrific): Chris Brown, it's a shame you didn't pick a woman like me to administer a beat-down upon -- I'd have you singing soprano for real. If you didn't do it, then I apologize, and I hope the public can forgive you -- but if you DID, then I can only hope that this is the beginning of the end for you, in every way imaginable.

And to the entertainment, and advertising, industries that I have called home for nearly eleven years: Thank you, from myself and every other woman out there, that you are holding men like Chris Brown RESPONSIBLE for his actions. Thank you, from myself and every other woman out there, especially women who have suffered and, yes, DIED at the hands of their abusers, for sending the message that behavior like this will NOT be rewarded. Thank you, from the bottom of my heart, for proving that REAL men DON'T abuse and beat and hate women, and for giving us faith (however temporarily) in you. It (almost) makes me forgive you for unjustly stripping Michael Phelps of his Frosted Flakes endorsement.

Wrigley's Suspends Chris Brown

This saga just keeps getting worse and worse! First off, I was such a great fan of Chris Brown - "CHRIS BREEZY!" I can't believe this whole Rihanna assault event, it's so horrible. Brown turned himseld into LAPD Sunday night for an alleged assault on 20-year-old girlfriend Rihanna. Wrigley’s has now suspended Chris Brown’s Doublemint ads until his legal problems are settled.

The statement just released says, “Wrigley is concerned by the serious allegations made against Chris Brown. We believe Mr. Brown should be afforded the same due process as any citizen. However, we have made the decision to suspend the current advertising featuring Brown and any related marketing communications until the matter is resolved.”

Chris Brown: Did He Assault Rihanna?

The only Grammy Awards anxiety Chris Brown was supposed to feel was over whether he'd win one. Instead, the R&B singer remains mired in suspicion over an allegation of domestic violence.
Following Brown's arrest late Sunday night on suspicion of making a criminal threat and subsequent release, plenty of questions remained: Was there a physical attack, and if so, against whom was it committed?

Los Angeles Police Sgt. Bridget Pickett said authorities continued to investigate what took place early Sunday in the ritzy Hancock Park neighborhood shortly after Brown and longtime girlfriend, pop superstar Rihanna, were seen happily sitting together at the annual pre-Grammy party hosted by Clive Davis.

Officers received a 911 call about an incident in which a woman accused Brown of hurting her. Authorities have not identified who that woman was, citing confidentiality for victims of domestic abuse.

The 19-year-old Brown, who had left the scene before authorities arrived, turned himself in to police while the Grammy Awards were going on Sunday without him — and also without Rihanna, who, like Brown, canceled her scheduled appearance.
Brown was released after posting $50,000 bail. Pickett described the singer as "professional" during processing.

Rihanna's publicist declined to say why the singer did not appear, saying only that she was "well" and expressing thanks for the concern. Brown's representatives also refused to discuss the allegations or his arrest.

A phone message left with Brown's attorney, Mark Geragos, was not immediately returned Sunday night.

News of the incident broke as stars were showing up at the Grammys. Police said in an initial news release, sent 90 minutes before the show began, that the woman accusing Brown showed visible injuries.

Still, Brown was not booked on suspicion of physically hurting the woman. Pickett said a criminal threats charge indicates a person makes a threat and has the capacity to carry it out.

"There may be domestic violence charges added later, but that will be up to the district attorney's office," Pickett said.

Less than an hour after the ceremony ended, Brown left a police substation with his attorney as numerous photographers tried to get a shot of him on the way out.
Pickett said Brown did not appear to have any physical injuries. She said she did not know who placed the 911 call and a police spokeswoman said the department would not release the tape.

Brown did not win in either category for which he was nominated: pop collaboration with vocals for "No Air" and male R&B vocal performance for "Take You Down."

R&B star (and Rihanna's boytoy), Chris Brown, is encouraging you to drink more milk and live a healthy life in general. Horray! Here's the just released picture of Chris Brown rocking the mustache in his Got Milk? campaign. We're ready for another single from Chris Brown, he's making great music these days!

The ad text reads: “Chris Brown feat. Milk. Another great collaboration? Milk. Some studies suggest that teens who drink milk tend to be leaner and the protein helps build muscle. So eat right, exercise and drink lowfat or fat free milk.”

Chris Brown's movie surprise

Chris Brown says fans will be surprised when they see his next film.

The 'Run It' singer is set to star in 'The Heist', which begins production next month, and admits it will show a different side to him.

He revealed to MTV: "It's a movie called 'The Heist' that I'm doing with T.I., Idris Elba and Matt Dillon.

"I'm playing a killer. I'm not going to give anything else away. It's a bank-robbing movie, so it's one of those action-packed films.

"You get a little different side of me in that movie."

Despite working on other movies, including 'Traded' and 'Phenom', both expected to be released next year, Chris insists he isn't turning his back on his music career.

He said: "At the end of the day, I'm going to focus on my music first.

"But me being onstage enhances me being in the movie, and then me being in the movie - acting, catching characters - gives me time to transform into a different character onstage."
