Chace Crawford Won't Date a Co-Star

Unlike his co-stars Blake Lively and Penn Badgley, "Gossip Girl" star Chace Crawford wants to keep his personal and professional life separate.

“‘Gossip Girl’ creator Josh Schwartz told me to avoid at all costs dating a co-star," Chace said. "We get to shoot in New York and have that as our playground and do the insane things that we get to be a part of. There’s a part of me that wants to share that."

“But I’m having fun living the bachelor life right now. It’s a good time to be single.”

Chace also denies the rumors that he moved out of the apartment he shared with co-star Ed Westwick because the two are no longer friends.

“Frat time’s over," he told Wonderland magazine. "I’m just turned 24, I need my own space. I don’t know why anyone wants to read about the condition of our apartment. It cracks me up. It was actually pretty immaculate."

“I’m OCD [Obsessive Compulsive Disorder]. I had a maid come twice a month. We have a few roof deck parties from time to time, but that’s all.”

Gossip Girl Couple Alert!

Ah-ha! We knew it, remember when we told you that it looked like Gossip Girl stars Ed Westwick & Jessica Szohr were getting cozy in an airport? Well, they attended a basketball game at Madison Square Garden on Monday (February 2) in New York City and shared a smooch! Looks like they are completely, definitely, totally a real-life couple. Gotcha!

I'm personally not a fan of those crazy women on The View. None of them can ever get a word in as they try to scream over each other! However today, we learned some things from Gossip Girl Ed Westwick and Chase Crawford's appearance on the daytime talkshow!

He does it so well, we thought he was an American actor all along! PLUS, did you know that Westwick and his co-star Chase Crawford are actually roommates in real life? Well, now you know!

Real Life 'Gossip Girl' Couple?

Did you catch last night's episode of the CW's 'Gossip Girl?' Well, it looks like 'Chuck' and 'Vanessa' may be getting close in real life! Hmm, interesting! We already know that Blake Lively and Penn Badgley are a couple off the set of the show.

Spies at the Dallas airport caught a trio of Gossip Girl cast members - Ed Westwick, Chace Crawford, and Jessica Szohr - waiting for their flights this holiday weekend. Ed and Jessica were caught being a bit flirty and smooching while they waited for their flight!

Oh yeah, this picture is taken from a scene from the show. He isn't offering her money in real life or anything, haha, just to clear that up!

Critics Say Gossip Girl Ads “Reek of Desperation”

Gossip Girl has gotten a bad rap with parents. But that’s fine with them.

The popular CW teen drama has taken the criticism and turned it into its latest campaign for the new fall season.

“What we’re trying to do is communicate with the audience in a way that they like and can appreciate,” CW’s Rick Haskins said of the show’s racy new ads.

“This sort of campaign resonates with someone who likes Gossip Girl—specifically, women ages 18 to 34.”

The ads feature the Gossip Girl stars in compromising positions. Critics of the explicit photo campaign include the Parents Television Council, who dubbed the show “Mind-Blowingly Inappropriate.”

One ad shows star Blake Lively getting kissed on the neck with her mouth wide open. The headline reads: “Every Parent’s Worse Nightmare”—a quote from a negative Boston Herald review.

“I think it reeks of desperation, if they have to position themselves as so edgy and so controversial that they’ve been called out by us,” said Melissa Henson, PTC director of communications.

The second season of the popular prep school soap begins Sept. 1.

Gossip Girl star Blake Lively, 20, is pictured on the cover of Seventeen magazine's new issue. She doesn't even look like herself! C'mon! She revealed her thoughts about being compared to a certain Hollywood starlet, making this our quote of the day:

“I once heard someone say that I’m similar to Paris Hilton - just because I have a dog and blonde hair. What a dumb thing to say,” Lively said. “I dont think that makes Paris and me similar … I don’t go to clubs, I don’t party, I don’t dance on tables, and I don’t like sex tapes.”
