Angelina Didn't Have Twins - Yet

Angelina Jolie's obstetrician, Dr. Michael Sussman, held a press conference outside of Nice's Lenval hospital at 5:30 p.m. local time to discuss the care of, and address the rumors about, his celebrity patient.

"Angelina's pregnancy has gone very well so far and she has absolutely no problems at all," he said. "But she still has at least two or three weeks to go until she gives birth and she'll most certainly be staying in the hospital until after she gives birth."

Reports announced yesterday that Jolie was in the hospital, and a French magazine even claimed she had already given birth to the twins.

"Lenval is one of the best maternity hospitals in the world so if there were any problems she'll get the best care possible," Sussman said. "But for now, both Angelina and the babies are doing extremely well. Everyone's very happy."

Brad Pitt was spotted entering the hospital's maternity ward with Angelina and his daughters, Zahara and Shiloh, although normally minors under 15 are not permitted in the hospital during visiting hours.

Jolie reportedly checked into the hospital earlier in the week so that she could rest up prior to the twins' birth. Hotel spokeswoman Nadine Bauer told E! News it was "standard procedure" and "something she had planned with her doctor...for some time."

Bauer also said that Sussman would hold a press conference following the twins' arrival.
