Why So Classy?: The Divorce Edition

Now THIS is what I expect from a JLo divorce announcement -- pure drama!!! Just goes to show you that you can take the girl out of the Bronx, but you can't take...you fill in the rest. SUCIA!!!

Gatecrasher says that on this coming Valentine Day, JLo will join Marc Anthony onstage at Madison Square Garden in NYC where they will sing a farewell duet together and announce their divorce to everyone.

JLo and Marc Anthony announced she was knocked up with their twins at one of their concerts in Miami, so she feels this is a fitting way to announce that their marriage has bitten the dust. A friend of JLo's said, “Jennifer is planning on joining Marc onstage for a surprise duet." (BG's note: Is it REALLY a surprise now that it's been announced in GATECRASHER? No, I don't think so...) "Things haven’t been right for a while now, and they thought it would be bittersweet." (BG's note: They thought incorrectly!)

JLo and Marc Anthony announcing their divorce through song?! I believe it, because this is definitely something JLo would do. Why so classy, JLo?! WHY SO CLASSY?!

Behold, the happiest couple in America...

JLo is not above having a Maury moment with Marc Anthony, but she sends her cousins to do her dirty work instead.

JLo apparently likes to keep close tabs on her man, so she sent her assistant to look after him while he was on tour.

JLo couldn't be bothered by going, because she was too busy yelling at the Dragon Tales Twins' nannies and rolling around in mounds of bronzer.

A source told Page Six, "She wanted reports back so he didn't cheat on her."

SO classy...

Jennifer Lopez Celebrates 39th B-Day With Low-Key Celebration

Jennifer Lopez has been taking it easy on the party scene since having twins Emme and Max earlier this year—and her 39th birthday was no exception.

“We had such a blast last night,” Lopez’s husband Marc Anthony, 39, told Ryan Seacrest on his KIIS radio show Friday. “It’s almost like every day is her birthday ... so last night we just wanted it to be quiet and, you know, have a nice quiet evening together.”

The new parents caught In the Heights on Broadway and made it backstage to hang with the cast enjoying the opportunity “to sit in an audience and watch other people be nervous.”

Anthony, who brings the 5-month-old twins on tour with him, also told Seacrest having the babies with him “amplifies what the experience feels like.”

He adds, “When your foundation is stable and you’re good, it doesn’t really affect anything. It’s that much more fulfilling, and you look forward to coming home. It’s a great time.”

Flight attendant files lawsuit against J.Lo

Flight attendant Lisa Wilson filed a $5 million lawsuit against Jennifer Lopez yesterday in Brooklyn Federal Court for complaints regarding a 2006 private flight the singer took.

Wilson alleged that Lopez's German shepherd guard dog was unruly, "attacking [Wilson] and biting her pant leg." She also said the attack caused her to fall, leading to back injuries that have prevented her from working.

The complaint says that "Prior to departure, the defendant Lopez warned the plaintiff about how she should behave around the guard dog." Wilson said that at the beginning of the flight, the dog, Floyd, seemed like "a well behaved guard dog."

Thirty minutes later; however, Floyd "lunged" at Wilson, leading to her fall and injury. In the complaint, Wilson said she began treatment for back pain and had surgery in April 2007, but she remains in treatment and has suffered "substantial economic loss" due to her inability to work.

In the suit, which E! News obtained, Wilson claimed that Lopez "knew or should have known that the animal had vicious propensities" and therefore is liable for her injuries.

Lopez has not replied to the charge, as of yet.

And according to the New York Post, Lopez was also subpoenaed last week to testify in a lawsuit regarding a 1999 nightclub shooting involving her boyfriend at the time, Sean "Diddy" Combs.

Natalia Reuben, a woman who was caught in the crossfire and shot in the face, filed a $130 million lawsuit against Combs and rapper Jamal "Shyne" Barrow, who was sentenced to jail for his involvement.

While Lopez was with Combs on the night of the Dec. 27, 1999 shooting at the former Club New York, she was not called as a witness to the criminal trial of either Combs or Barrow.
